Sugar Cookies

Well, today we do have sunshine - thank you thank you for that :)  Sure makes ones day brighter just to have that sun shining.  It is not as warm as the predicted forecast had predicted - however, I will be happy with the sun.  My friend told me she will take me to dinner @ Bello Cucina - our best restaurant in town - if I made some Sugar cookies for her - so guess what? - the sugar cookies are baking as I type this!  Free yummy pasta dinner - I am all in!  P.S.  thanks to my sister-in-law Michelle for this cookie recipe!

1 c. butter, softened
1 c. sugar
1 c. powdered sugar
2 eggs
3/4 c. canola oil
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. salt
4 1/2 c. all-purpose flour

Mix all together.  Roll into small walnut sized balls.  Place on baking sheet and flatten with a glass bottom dipped in sugar.
Bake @ 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes.

I am a Guest Blog Poster

Today you will find me on a guest blog post over at Cooking with Libby:
She is in the midst of a move to New Mexico and asked for some people to do some guest blogs and I get to be one of them.  It's exciting for me and lots of days I neglect my blog, and post all of my stuff to my facebook page instead - where you of course can find me at Life by Jill Marie.
In a nutshell, hop on over to Libby's blog today and give my guest posting a shout-out and say hi to a new friend as well.

Have a great day!  Jill
