BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR still time in Minnesota for warm comfort food!

Spring, 2011?  What?  Where?  We have had a few scattered days of 60 degree nice temps.  Otherwise we have had GRAY, cloudy skies, rain, snow, rain, snow, winds.  Needless to say, furnaces are still in the ON position.  Yesterday was one of the above-mentioned days so my hubby and I decided a day to watch some movies for sure, down to the family room, turn on the fire place and first we watched the King's Speech and followed that with the Black Swan.  Both are good movies - very different for sure.  Yesterday, on facebook, a friend of mine posted the following recipe and this is what will be for supper here tonight:

Three Bean Hotdish
1 can kidney beans
1/2 # ground beef, browned
1/2 # bacon, fried and cut into small pieces
1 c. fried onion
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. mustard
2 tsp. vinegar
1 can butter beans
2 cans pork and beans
1 tsp. salt
Mix all these ingredients together.  Pour into a casserole dish or 9 x 13 cake pan and bake for 1 hour at 325 degrees.
